The Black Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County focuses
its resources on the challenges faced by Black-owned businesses.
The Black Chamber is dedicated to advancing the economic interests of its members through advocacy, education, information sharing
and resource brokering to maximize their success.
The Community Foundation has $500,000 in scholarships to award to local, college-bound students.
To apply, students must complete a qualifying questionnaire and submit an online application. Application information is available at www.yourcommunityfoundation.org/scholarships.
Scholarships ranging from $1,000 to over $15,000 will be awarded. Since 1983, the Community Foundation has awarded over $5.1 million to over 1,300 students in Palm Beach and Martin counties. Donors interested in supporting the education of local students can establish a scholarship fund or give to the Community Scholarship Fund online at www.yourcommunityfoundation.org/give or by calling 561-659-6800.
The Community Foundation also publishes a comprehensive Scholarship Directory, which lists additional organizations offering scholarships locally.
